Is The Swine Flu Outbreak Much Worse Than They Are Telling Us?

As the flu crisis continues to spread rapidly around the world there are now frightening indications that the swine flu outbreak is much worse than the mainstream media is telling us. Multiple eyewitness reports out of Mexico confirm that the real death toll there is far higher than the 152 confirmed deaths that are being reported internationally.

Comments from Mexican eyewitnesses on a BBC News website tell of a much bleaker situation in Mexico than we have been told in the mainstream media. These chilling reports should put a chill up your spine.....

*Antonio Chavez, a medical doctor from Mexico City:

I’m a specialist doctor in respiratory diseases and intensive care at the Mexican National Institute of Health. There is a severe emergency over the swine flu here. More and more patients are being admitted to the intensive care unit. Despite the heroic efforts of all staff (doctors, nurses, specialists, etc) patients continue to inevitably die. The truth is that anti-viral treatments and vaccines are not expected to have any effect, even at high doses. It is a great fear among the staff. The infection risk is very high among the doctors and health staff.

There is a sense of chaos in the other hospitals and we do not know what to do. Staff are starting to leave and many are opting to retire or apply for holidays. The truth is that mortality is even higher than what is being reported by the authorities, at least in the hospital where I work it. It is killing three to four patients daily, and it has been going on for more than three weeks. It is a shame and there is great fear here. Increasingly younger patients aged 20 to 30 years are dying before our helpless eyes and there is great sadness among health professionals here.

*Alvaro Ricardez, Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico:

In the capital of my state, Oaxaca, there is a hospital closed because of a death related to the porcine influenza. In the papers they recognise only two people dead for that cause. Many friends working in hospitals or related fields say that the situation is really bad, they are talking about 19 people dead in Oaxaca, including a doctor and a nurse. They say they got shots but they were told not to talk about the real situation. Our authorities say nothing. Life goes on as usual here.

*Migdalia Cruz, Phoenix, Arizona:

I have a sister-in-law from San Luis Potosi state in Mexico and we were told that in San Luis Potosi there have been at least 78 deaths, just in that city alone, not 68 in all of Mexico, as is being reported. Schools have been closed until 6 May in this state and in other areas in Mexico. Also, many public venues are being closed, so this makes it more deadly and dangerous than has been stated.

*Yeny Gregorio Dávila, Mexico City:

I work as a resident doctor in one of the biggest hospitals in Mexico City and sadly, the situation is far from “under control”. As a doctor, I realise that the media does not report the truth. Authorities distributed vaccines among all the medical personnel with no results, because two of my partners who worked in this hospital (interns) were killed by this new virus in less than six days even though they were vaccinated as all of us were. The official number of deaths is 20, nevertheless, the true number of victims are more than 200. I understand that we must avoid to panic, but telling the truth it might be better now to prevent and avoid more deaths.

Hopefully reports like this will get out there and will make people realize how serious this all could become.

One independent reporter has even captured stunning footage of a packed emergency room full of patients wearing masks and coughing like crazy near the U.S./Mexico border.

In the United States things are starting to become quite frightening as well. There is now a report that North Carolina officials are involuntarily isolating swine flu patients. Please note the "involuntary" part of that. Imagine if this happens all over the nation and Americans who show symptoms of the swine flu start getting ripped away from their families and sent to isolation facilities and camps.

Scary stuff.

Reports of new swine flu outbreaks are coming in almost constantly now and the World Health Organization has raised the threat level from a Phase 3 Global Outbreak to Phase 4, which has never been done before. Meanwhile, scientists are completely puzzled how such a powerful strain that combines elements of swine flu, bird flu and human flu could have appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

So is this going to be the big one?

Is this the one that is going to kill millions of people?

It is too early to tell, but here is what we do know at this hour.....

First of all, this "swine flu" is not just run of the mill swine flu. It contains elements of the following.....

*Avian flu
*Human flu
*European swine flu
*Asian swine flu

Now how in the world did an incredibly strong combination of these viruses appear seemingly out of nowhere?

Scientists are baffled.

Meanwhile this "swine flu" is popping up all over the U.S. and Mexico.

In Mexico alone, there are already over 1600 suspected cases and 152 suspected deaths from the swine flu so far. Most public events have been canceled, and millions of Mexicans are hiding indoors in an attempt to escape the swine flu.

67 cases of the swine flu have been confirmed in the United States, and the CDC says that it is too late to contain the swine flu outbreak in the United States.

In fact, some public schools in many areas all over the United States are being closed due to fear over this swine flu.

These outbreaks in the U.S. and Mexico are already causing panic reactions from other parts of the world.

EU health commissioner Andorra Vassiliou has asked Europeans to postpone nonessential travel to the United States or Mexico. In addition, China has banned the import of hog and pork products from Mexico and parts of the United States.

However, the truth is that the swine flu is now spreading all over the world. Just today new reports of swine flu cases have come in from Canada, Israel, France, New Zealand, Costa Rica and South Korea.

So what can we expect to see going forward?

The next few days are going to be key.

If only a few hundred people end up dying from this swine flu that is not that big of a deal. Hundreds of people die from many different causes every day.

But if this disease starts sweeping the globe and thousands of people start dying, then that could indicate that this IS the big one.

The reality is that we have been warning of a coming flu plague for quite some time.

What is even more disturbing is the possibility that this new flu may be engineered. We recently reported on the unlabeled bird flu/human flu mixture that Baxter International "accidentally" sent out to other labs.

Why would our scientists mix these dangerous viruses together so recklessly? The CDC was mixing human flu and bird flu together as far back as 2004. This is incredibly dangerous to do. One mistake and a pandemic virus can be released that could kill millions of people.

So how many people will this "swine flu" virus kill?

Is this going to become a massive pandemic that bring the world to a standstill?

Nobody can say for sure yet, but it is getting frightening out there. Be sure to take the necessary precautions to keep your family safe.

American Torture

Imagine a government that cruelly tortures thousands of prisoners endlessly for years and years and then announces to the world that nobody will ever be held accountable for the torture.

That's torture "American style".

Where else in the world can you be waterboarded an average of 6 times per day?

It has now been revealed that terror suspect Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times in March 2003 and Abu Zubaydah was waterboarded 83 times in August 2002.

The following is how Wikipedia defines waterboarding:

Waterboarding is a form of torture that consists of immobilizing the victim on his or her back with the head inclined downwards, and then pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages. By forced suffocation and inhalation of water the subject experiences drowning and is caused to believe they are about to die.

Imagine having to go through that once.

Now imagine having to go through it 183 times in one month.

How could we treat any human being that way?

But now it is being announced that nobody will ever be held accountable for all of this torture.

Last Thursday President Barack Obama released four top secret memos from during the Bush administration that discussed the torture of terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay and at other secret detention centers around the globe.

In a statement accompanying the release of the memos, Obama said very clearly that those who had been involved in the torture would NOT be prosecuted. Obama stated that this is a "time for reflection, not retribution."

What in the world?

No prosecution for anyone?

President Obama correctly acknowledged that this was a "dark and painful chapter in our history."

So why is nobody being held accountable?

“Nothing will be gained,” Obama said, “by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past.”

Is he serious?

Is anything gained when we put a rapist in jail?

Is anything gained when we put a serial killer behind bars?

How can he say that nothing would be gained from prosecuting those people who have committed horrific torture crimes?

The new attorney-general, Eric Holder, also stated that there will be no prosecution of CIA operatives working within the guidelines set by the Bush administration: "It would be unfair to prosecute dedicated men and women working to protect America for conduct that was sanctioned in advance by the justice department."

Unfair?

Was it unfair to prosecute the Nazis after World War II who were "just following the orders of Hitler"?

The torture techniques described in these memos include.....

*Forced nudity

*"Walling", which is slamming a prisoner into a wall

*"Cramped confinement" which means "placement of the individual in a confined space"

*Stinging insects placed inside "a confinement box"

*Waterboarding - one of the memos actually admits that "the use of waterboarding constitutes a threat of imminent death"

*Sleep deprivation for several days

*Sleep deprivation while wearing a diaper

*The use of "stress positions" to cause "muscle fatigue"

*"Dietary manipulation"

*Facial and abdominal slapping

One of the most shocking things in these memos is that they recognized that the techniques that they were authorizing were ones that we condemned other countries for using.

However, the reality of American torture goes far beyond what was described in those four memos.

The truth is that it is documented that the torture of American prisoners around the world has been absolutely sadistic and brutal.

The following is list of some of the torture acts that U.S. military personnel committed against "terror suspects" as recorded in the executive summary of the Article 15-6 investigation of the 800th Military Police Brigade by Major General Antonio M. *Videotaping and photographing naked male and female detainees

*Forcibly arranging detainees in various sexually explicit positions for photographing

*Forcing detainees to remove their clothing and keeping them naked for several days at a time

*Forcing naked male detainees to wear women’s underwear

*Forcing groups of male detainees to masturbate themselves while being photographed and videotaped

*Arranging naked male detainees in a pile and then jumping on them

*Positioning a naked detainee on a MRE Box, with a sandbag on his head, and attaching wires to his fingers, toes, and penis to simulate electric torture

*Writing "I am a Rapest" (sic) on the leg of a detainee alleged to have forcibly raped a 15-year old fellow detainee, and then photographing him naked

*Placing a dog chain or strap around a naked detainee’s neck and having a female Soldier pose for a picture

*A male MP guard having sex with a female detainee

*Using military working dogs (without muzzles) to intimidate and frighten detainees, and in at least one case biting and severely injuring a detainee

*Taking photographs of dead Iraqi detainees

*Breaking chemical lights and pouring the phosphoric liquid on detainees

*Threatening detainees with a charged 9mm pistol

*Pouring cold water on naked detainees

*Beating detainees with a broom handle and a chair

*Threatening male detainees with rape

*Sodomizing a detainee with a chemical light and perhaps a broom stick

Does that sound like sadistic torture to you?

I certainly hope so.

Don't you think that those who participated in such acts should be held accountable?

So do I.

But apparently Obama does not, so all of the torturers are going to escape punishment and will never be brought to trial.

The word "shame" is not nearly strong enough to describe this state of affairs.

Have the American people sunk so low that they are now perfectly willing to accept that their government brutally tortures people with absolutely no accountability?

You Might Be A Domestic Terrorist If.....

The recent Department of Homeland Security report on "right wing extremism" has created a firestorm of controversy across the United States.

Why is there such an uproar?

Why are so many people so upset about this?

Why?

Because it labels tens of millions of Americans as "potential domestic terrorists".

According to the Department of Homeland Security, you might be a domestic terrorist if.....

*you are a U.S. military veteran returning from duty in Iraq or Afghanistan

*you believe in "end times" prophecies

*you believe in state or local authority

*you are against abortion

*you are against illegal immigration

*you believe in the 2nd Amendment

*you criticize any of the free trade agreements the U.S. has made

*you are against same-sex marriage

*you believe that an economic collapse is happening

*you think that the U.S. may declare martial law someday

*you believe that the U.S. is creating detention camps

*you stockpile food, ammunition or weapons

*you believe that illegal immigrants are taking away American jobs

*you believe "New World Order" conspiracy theories

Quite a few of those apply to me, so it looks like I have made the list.

Government Surveillance

Is it inevitable that we must accept constant government surveillance as part of our lives? After all, based on recent actions by this administration it is apparent that Barack Obama and George W. Bush agree on one thing: government spying is good.

On April 3rd, Obama's Department of Justice filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit by the Electronic Frontier Foundation that seeks to expose illegal spying by the National Security Agency.

This lawsuit is based on information from former AT&T telecommunications technician Mark Klein and other inside sources. Klein testified in a sworn affidavit that all of AT&T's Internet traffic in San Francisco runs through a splitter, and that a complete copy of all Internet traffic that flows through AT&T's equipment is sent through a separate fiber-optic cable to a room controlled by the NSA. Reportedly only personnel with NSA clearances have access to that room.
But now Obama's administration wants to keep the truth from coming out.

Kevin Bankston, senior attorney at the Electronic Frontier Foundation expressed the disappointment of many Obama supporters over this turn of events: "Other than being flat wrong, the Obama administration's position is seriously disappointing to those Americans who listened to candidate Obama's promises of a new era of government accountability and transparency."

Obama had criticized the Bush administration on this issue during the campaign, saying that they had "undermined the Constitution."

But now it is the Obama administration that is trying to have this lawsuit dismissed.

The Obama administration is invoking the "state secrets" privilege. They say it would damage "national security" to expose the truth.

That sounds exactly like the Bush administration.

Absolutely sickening.

Instead of reducing the surveillance powers of the government, the Democrats are actually attempting to massively increase them. A shocking new bill would actually give Obama authority to shut down the Internet and access whatever private computer data he wanted in the event of an emergency.

What?

Should we give Obama the power to shut down the Internet whenever he decides that there is an "emergency"?

Who came up with this stupid idea?

Well, it was U.S. Senators John Rockefeller and Olympia Snowe.

Hmmm.....Rockefeller.....I think that name rings a bell.

Anyway, these Senators have introduced a bill called "The Cybersecurity Act of 2009" that would establish an "Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor". This office would have extraordinary power to monitor and "control" Internet traffic.

What most Americans do not realize is that this bill would give Obama the ability to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" and shut down the Internet whenever he wants to.

You see, The Cybersecurity Act of 2009 does not define what "a cybersecurity emergency" is. That would be left totally up to the discretion of Obama.

The Cybersecurity Act of 2009 also gives the Secretary of Commerce "access to all relevant data concerning [critical] networks without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule, or policy restricting such access."

What does that mean?

It means the government can look at whatever it wants on the Internet without telling you or getting your permission.

What, you don't think that is a good idea?

You better tell your representatives before they pass it.

Death Of Capitalism?

Is capitalism dying? In a recent survey by Rasmussen Reports, only 53% of American adults said that they believed that capitalism is better than socialism. Nearly two decades ago, many analysts heralded the "death of communism", yet today it is very hard to identify any truly "free markets" or even any countries where the government does not exercise extreme control over the economy.

Newsweek recently ran a shocking article entitled "We Are All Socialists Now". While the magazine probably just intended for this headline to stir debate and get attention, the reality is that Newsweek is right.

We have become socialists and many of us don't even know it.

The truth is that United States government is almost 40 percent of the national GDP.

The truth is that when you add up all of the taxes that the average American pays out in one form or another, they total over 50 percent of what the average American makes.

So more than half of your money goes to the government.

How does that make you feel?

But the reality is that America is becoming more socialist by the day.

After all, who is the biggest "business owner" in the United States?

The government.

Who is the biggest "spender" in the United States?

The government.

Who does everyone expect to "fix" and "run" the economy?

The government.

During this latest economic crisis, the federal government of the United States has "bailed out", nationalized or taken ownership interests in a vast array of banks, financial institutions, insurance companies and large corporations.

That doesn't sound anything like "capitalism" to me.

The reality is that a new generation of Americans has arisen that expects the government to take care of them from the cradle to the grave. They expect the government to fix all their problems and to provide them with a great life.

Haven't we learned anything from the dramatic failure of other socialist regimes throughout history?

Apparently not.

It is not just in the United States either - all around the world people are clamoring for socialism.

And the truly frightening thing is that wherever there is a move towards socialism or communism there is almost always a corresponding move towards atheism.

And wherever atheism rises, persecution of Christians soon follows.

But we should not expect the world to love Christians.

In John 15:19, Jesus said this.....

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

The truth is that these are the last days before the return of Jesus, and no matter what form governments around the world take the reality is that they are going to ultimately turn against Christianity. The Scriptures tell us that there will be brutal persecution of Christians in the end times, and that is a reality that we are going to have to be ready for.

Deepak Chopra: It's Time To End The Satan Myth

Wellness guru Deepak Chopra is proclaiming on his website that it is now time to end "the Satan myth". Instead of moving forward towards global harmony, Chopra believes that humanity is being held back by concepts such as "pure evil" and "Satan" which he believes cause us to view others with suspicion and paranoia.

On his website, Chopra expounded on some of the ideas that he expressed during a debate on Satan that he participated in recently on ABC's Nightline. Chopra believes that we are headed for a global society, and that in such a society the concept of "pure evil" will not be needed:

The future appears to be global, and if we want to thrive there, the concept of "pure evil" has to be discarded.

Chopra also has no love lost for those who still hold to traditional religious beliefs about Satan. In fact, it is really hard to misinterpret this barb aimed squarely at fundamentalist Christians:

...it’s hard to remember a time when educated, free-thinking people reserved at least a tiny, secret corner where belief in Satan — or pure evil — resided.

So anyone who believes in Satan is a brain-washed idiot? Apparently so. According to Chopra, those who are enlightened are moving towards a more "positive" form of spirituality:

...a positive kind of spirituality has arisen that doesn’t need Satan.

So what does Chopra think of all those people who claim that they have seen Satan or have seen a demon or who have had a close encounter with hell? Apparently those people "sadden" him, but he does not give any evidence that their experiences are not real:

I came away from the debate saddened by the testimonials from fervent believers who claimed to have met the Devil personally or to have barely escaped the fires of damnation.

So does Satan actually exist?

The Bible says that he does.

At the very beginning of the Bible he is there tempting Adam and Eve, and at the end of the Bible he is there being thrown into the lake of fire for his rebellion against God.

Jesus spoke about Satan quite a bit in the four gospels. For example, in John 8:44, Jesus made it quite clear how He feels about Satan:

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

So is Satan real?

Well, either Satan is real or Jesus is a liar.

You pick what you want to believe.

I believe that God does exist and that the Bible is true.

Why do I believe that?

Because that is what the evidence overwhelmingly supports.

Nuclear Deal?

On the eve of the G20 summit, Russia and America reached a groundbreaking agreement to dramatically reduce their nuclear stockpiles. In the past such an announcement would have made front page headlines around the world, but even though this agreement may not be getting a lot of notice in the media, it is nonetheless a turning point that has staggering implications for the national security of the United States.

Barack Obama and Russian President Medvedev issued a joint statement that promised a “fresh start” in relations between the two nations. The two leaders hope to be able to finalize a legally binding arms reduction treaty by the end of 2009.

So how far will the United States and Russia reduce their stockpiles under this nuclear deal? Well, White House officials are indicating that the number of nuclear warheads was likely to be reduced to no more than 1,500 each. That is an absolutely stunning reduction, considering the fact that the United States currently has about 5,500 nuclear warheads.

So should we all be rejoicing over this announcement of nuclear disarmament?

Does this nuclear deal bring world peace a lot closer?

No, in fact it dramatically increases the possibility that we will have a nuclear war.

Why?

The truth is that Russia and China are not "friends" of the United States. In fact, espionage activity by the Russians and Chinese has reached or exceeded Cold War levels. The strategic interests of the United States are directly opposed to the strategic interests of the Russians and the Chinese, and many Russian and Chinese military analysts believe that a future war with the United States is not only likely, but is probably inevitable.

But ONE thing has caused the Russians and the Chinese to rule out a war up until now.

The strategic nuclear arsenal of the United States.

But now Barack Obama wants to throw most of it in the dumpster.

Without their strategic nuclear arsenal, the United States would not be able to match the conventional military might of the Russians and the Chinese.

Many Russian and Chinese military analysts have envisioned a scenario where a devastating surprise first strike that takes out most of the U.S. nuclear arsenal followed up by a conventional invasion of the United States.

If the United States follows through with this nuclear deal and reduces their nuclear arsenal to 1,500 warheads, then such a scenario becomes possible.

The reality is that Russia is rapidly preparing for war.....

*Russia has launched an ambitious plan to rebuild and modernize their army by 2016.

*Russia has announced that they may base strategic bombers in Cuba. Bombers from Cuba can reach the United States in just a few minutes.

*Russia is deploying new nuclear cruise missiles on their strategic submarine fleet.

What most Americans do not understand is that the newest Russian nuclear submarines are more advanced than American nuclear submarines.
