"Health Care Reform" = Mandatory Health Insurance And Government Control Over Your Health Decisions

The majority of Americans, and especially young Americans, seem to be very enthusiastic about the health care reforms proposed by Barack Obama and the Democrats. However, what most Americans do not realize is that "health care reform" is not going to mean free health care. Instead, it is going to mean that you are forced to buy health insurance, it is going to mean that the federal government will control your health decisions and it is even going to mean that the federal government is going to decide who lives and who dies.

Under the horrific health care bill unveiled by Democrats on Thursday, Americans who refuse to buy health insurance will be hit with heavy fines of more than $1,000. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that these draconian fines will raise around 36 billion dollars over 10 years.

So all Americans will now be forced to hand their money over to greedy health insurance companies.

But when you get sick and need surgery the health insurance company will be there for you, right?

Wrong.

Just ask anyone who has tangled with a health insurance company how horrible they can be. They will do anything to squeeze out of paying a bill if they think they can get away with it.

Government run health care also means mandatory vaccinations. The CDC is now saying that the U.S. may need 600 million doses of swine flu vaccine in order to vaccinate every man, woman and child in the United States this fall.

In the future, if your national health record shows that you have not taken the mandatory vaccines, then you will not be able to get anymore health care until you do.

But there are even more frightening health care changes that the Congress passed earlier this year.

The truth is that the Democrats inserted provisions into one of the "stimulus" bills that gave the federal government COMPLETE control over your health care under a nationalized health care plan.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, otherwise known as "the economic stimulus bill" contained almost all of the key elements of Tom Daschle's ideal nationalized health care system that he outlined in his 2008 book, Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.

In his book, Daschle wrote that doctors will have to “learn to operate less like solo practitioners” and be willing to accept mandatory government controls and guidelines.

Guess what?

That is precisely what the bill forces doctors to do.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 created a brand new bureaucracy called the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology. This new government organization will monitor all medical treatments to make sure that your doctor is prescribing the exact drugs and medical treatments that the federal government believes are "appropriate" and "cost effective".

The bill also had a provision that hospitals and doctors which are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face serious penalties. The bill also says that the Secretary of Health and Human Service will be permitted to impose "more stringent measures of meaningful use over time".

The bill also radically changed the way that the health care system treats the elderly.

Currently, Medicare pays for medical treatments for the elderly that are considered to safe and effective.

That is all changing now.

Now, a cost effectiveness standard set by a Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research will apply.

The goal of this "council" is to actually slow the development and use of new medications and treatments because they are driving up medical costs.

In her recent editorial, Betsy McCaughey described Daschle's attitude towards the elderly in his book:

He praises Europeans for being more willing to accept “hopeless diagnoses” and “forgo experimental treatments,” and he chastises Americans for expecting too much from the health-care system.

She also goes on to describe how this new "council" would actually make choices to deny health care to elderly patients if they don't have enough "productive" years left:

The Federal Council is modeled after a U.K. board discussed in Daschle’s book. This board approves or rejects treatments using a formula that divides the cost of the treatment by the number of years the patient is likely to benefit. Treatments for younger patients are more often approved than treatments for diseases that affect the elderly, such as osteoporosis.

Do you understand what that means?

It means that now the United States government decides who lives and who dies.

But the American people cheered on Obama and the Democrats as they passed a horrible bill that the vast majority of them did not even read.

VA State Police: Tax Protesters And Pro-Life Activists Are Terrorists

Once again, an official government report has been discovered that labels large groups of American citizens as terrorists. In this incredibly shocking report, Americans who are pro-life, in favor of gun rights or are concerned with "constitutional issues" are listed as potential terrorists right along with al-Qaeda, Hamas and the Ku Klux Klan.

The report is in the form of a slideshow presentation entitled "Terrorism Awareness and Prevention" and you can see the entire report for yourself here.

The presentation start out by examining foreign terrorist groups, but quickly transitions to pointing out the "domestic terrorists" that the Virginia state police need to be watching for.

So who are those domestic terrorists?

According to the report, the following are potential domestic terrorists.....

*Anyone who believes in gun rights

*Anyone who is pro-life

*Anyone who is concerned about "constitutional issues"

*Tax protesters

*"Anti-government groups"

*Anyone who is opposed to globalization

*Anyone who is opposed to world trade agreements

*Anyone who is opposed to U.S. military intervention around the world

*Anyone who considers themselves to be a "sovereign citizen"

*Religious "cults"

*Anyone involved in large cash transactions

The categories above are basically equated with al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hizbullah, the Ku Klux Klan and radical neo-Nazis in the report.

It would be frightening enough if this was an isolated report.

But it isn't.

This is actually just the latest in a series of government documents that lists large numbers of Americans as terrorists.

For example, earlier this year a Department of Homeland Security report got a lot of publicity for demonizing military veterans returning from Iraq or Afghanistan.

Posted below is a list of 14 characteristics of a "domestic terrorist" that were pulled right out of that stunning report.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, you just may be a domestic terrorist if.....

*you are a U.S. military veteran returning from duty in Iraq or Afghanistan

*you believe in "end times" prophecies

*you believe in state or local authority

*you are against abortion

*you are against illegal immigration

*you believe in the 2nd Amendment

*you criticize any of the free trade agreements the U.S. has made

*you are against same-sex marriage

*you believe that an economic collapse is happening

*you think that the U.S. may declare martial law someday

*you believe that the U.S. is creating detention camps

*you stockpile food, ammunition or weapons

*you believe that illegal immigrants are taking away American jobs

*you believe "New World Order" conspiracy theories

Do any of those apply to you?

If so, then the Department of Homeland Security thinks that you are a potential terrorist.

But wait, there is more.....

On February 20, 2009, the State of Missouri issued a report entitled: "MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement."

That report actually labeled Americans who supported presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin as "dangerous" and referred to those Americans as potential terrorists.

In addition, the report targeted individuals who hold particular political ideologies as being potentially dangerous.

The report instructed police and other government officials that the following political views are "dangerous" and could signal a potential terrorist:

*Anyone opposing abortion

*Anyone opposing illegal immigration

*Anyone who believes that the New World Order is a threat

*Anyone who is against the North American Union

*Anyone who is against the income tax

*Anyone who has a negative view of the U.N.

So what is the big deal?

The big deal is what the U.S. government does with "terrorists".

American "terrorists" are instantly stripped of their citizenship under the Patriot Act and can be held indefinitely without a trial.

American "terrorists" forfeit all of their rights under the Patriot Act and can be tortured just like an "Islamic" terrorist can.

Are you ready to be treated like a member of al-Qaeda for your pro-life beliefs?

Are you ready to have all of your rights taken away because you attended a TEA party?

The truth is that if the American people do not stand up against this type of demonization, then they are going to get the tyranny that they deserve. Contact your representatives in Congress and on the state level and demand that whoever was involved in these reports needs to be fired.

For official government reports to specifically target and demonize peaceful people who have a particular political viewpoint is beyond despicable. We must work peacefully within the system to change it, or else we are going to wake up one day and find that we have completely lost the constitutional system that we once loved.

Socialism In America

Now that the U.S. government has taken over or has massively bailed out dozens of the largest corporations in the United States, is it time to ask if America is headed for a future of socialism? Or perhaps we should ask this question: Is socialism in America already here?

In light of recent events, it appears that the answer is quite obvious.

You see, President Barack Obama's comprehensive new plan to regulate the financial industry would give the U.S. government vast new powers to seize key companies whose failure jeopardizes the financial system.

So essentially, the U.S. government would be able to grab any company that it wants whenever it feels like it.

Up until now, the U.S. government's authority to seize companies has been mostly limited to banks.

But after the recent actions at Chrysler and General Motors it is clear that we are in a while new ball game.

After all, who ever heard of the President of the United States firing the head of General Motors?

That is essentially what happened.

And are the American people protesting? Do they seem concerned about the future?

Hardly.

It seems that many of them will agree to just about anything if they think it will get them free money and free healthcare.

But nothing is free.

Just last week news came out that the United States government is going to take a 34 percent ownership stake in Citigroup.

In the old days that would have made headline news for weeks.

Now?

Hardly a blip.

The truth is that we do not need to debate if America is going to be socialist in the future.

America already is socialist.

Some time ago, Newsweek published an article entitled "We Are All Socialists Now". While the magazine probably just intended for that headline to stir debate and get attention, the reality is that Newsweek was completely and totally right.

The U.S. is now socialist and most Americans don't even realize it.

The truth is that the United States government is almost 40 percent of GDP already, and that number is quickly growing.

And when you add up all of the taxes that the average American pays out in one form or another, they total over 50 percent of what the average American makes.

For those of you who are a little slow at math, this is what that means.....

More than half of your money goes to the government.

How does that make you feel?

If you like that, then you will probably have no problem adjusting to socialism.

The reality is that Americans are being taxed into oblivion.

Who does everyone expect to "fix" and "run" the economy?

The government.

During this latest economic crisis, the federal government of the United States has "bailed out", nationalized or has taken ownership interests in a vast array of banks, financial institutions, insurance companies and large corporations.

Does that sound like "capitalism" to you?

The truth is that a new generation of Americans has arisen that expects the government to take care of them from the cradle to the grave. They expect the government to fix all their problems and to provide them with everything that they need.

In fact, the younger an American is, the more likely they are to embrace socialism. So, this trend is not likely to reverse itself any time soon.

Holocaust Museum Shooter James Von Brunn Loved Darwin, Hated Christians

The truth is finally beginning to emerge about the Holocaust Museum shooter. It has now come out that James Von Brunn not only deeply admired Charles Darwin and the theory of evolution, but that he also had a deep, seething hatred for Christians and the Bible.

According to WorldNetDaily, the following recently discovered quotes from Von Brunn illustrate how he used Darwinian theory to justify his utter contempt for Jews and Christians.....

But should we be surprised?

The truth is that whenever Darwinism and atheism triumph, it results in extreme repression of Jews and Christians.

Just think of every major atheist nation of the 20th century - the U.S.S.R., communist China, Cuba, all of communist eastern Europe, North Korea - they all persecuted Jews and Christians brutally.

But Von Brunn's ideology most closely resembles the anti-Semitic and anti-Christian "social Darwinism" of Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler.

The Nazis fully embraced the theories of Charles Darwin and sought to apply the implications of that theory to society as a whole.

In fact, there are amazing parallels to be drawn between Nazism and what we are seeing today.

The vast majority of people believe that Nazism was a far right political movement, but that assumption is completely and totally wrong.

The official title of the Nazi party under Adolf Hitler was the "National Socialist German Workers’ Party".

Please take special note of the word "Socialist" in that title.

The Nazis were socialists.

That is not right - that is far left.

The Nazis advocated very tight social and economic control by a big, powerful central government.

That is a far left philosophy - not a far right one.

Big government is always the desire of leftists.

Well, what about social issues?

When the Nazis came to power in 1933 one of the very first acts of Hitler was to legalize abortion in Germany.

By 1935, there were more than 500,000 abortions being performed in Germany each and every year.

Adolf Hitler was a huge fan of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, and she was a big admirer of him.

How did Margaret Sanger feel about unborn children?:

"The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."

Hitler not only advocated abortion, but he also vigorously advanced the eugenics agenda of Planned Parenthood.

Adolf Hitler said this: "The demand that defective people be prevented from propagating equally defective offspring. . . represents the most humane act of mankind."

Hitler's obsession with eugenics resulted in the involuntary euthanasia of disabled people and the compulsory sterilization of thousands of people with mental deficiencies.

Just like the far left of today, Hitler had no respect for human life.

What about education? Were Hitler and the Nazis far right or far left?

In "The Swastika against the Cross: The Nazi War on Christianity", Bruce Walker describes how the Nazis declared an all out war against Christianity in their public schools. He documents some absolutely stunning historical facts such as the following:

-Only clergymen were permitted to teach religious classes, and those clergymen were forced to teach according to the anti-Christian instructions of the Nazi Ministry of Education.

-In the city of Wurrtemberg, when clergymen totally refused to follow Nazi teachings on religion, 700 of them were permanently banned from the classroom.

-Christian prayers were totally banned from the public classroom and crucifixes and other Christian symbols were physically removed as well.

-By 1935, the passionately anti-Christian leader of the Hitler Youth, Baldur von Shirach, issued a regulation that prohibited any child from belonging simultaneously to a Christian youth group and the Hitler Youth.

-Gradually, membership in the Hitler Youth became almost obligatory, and parents were told that their children would not get good jobs in the civil service unless they belonged to the Hitler Youth and employers were told that they should not hire children who did not belong to the Hitler Youth.

-Christian children who did not belong to the Hitler Youth or its female counterpart were routinely beaten up by young Nazi thugs.

-Boys inducted into the Hitler Youth were required to explicitly reject Christianity by disgusting oaths such as this: “German blood and Christian baptismal water are completely incompatible.”

The following is an example of a an actual Hitler Youth slogan:

“The Faith fanatics, who still to-day slide down on their knees with faces uplifted to heaven, waste their time in churchgoing and prayers, and have not yet understood that they are living on the earth and that therefore their task is of a thoroughly earthly kind. All we Hitler people can still only look with the greatest contempt on those young people who still run to their silly Evangelical or Catholic Churches in order to vent their quite superstitious religious feelings.”

The following are actual quotes from Hitler Youth training manuals:

“Christianity is a religion of slaves and fools.”

“How did Christ die? Whining at the Cross!”

“The Ten Commandments represent the lowest instincts of man.”

“Christianity is merely a cloak for Judaism.”

The Nazi tract "Gott und Volk" was widely distributed in 1941, and it describes how the Nazis envisioned their children being raised: “With parties and gifts the youth will be led painlessly from one faith to the other and will grow up without ever having heard of the Sermon on the Mount or the Golden Rule, to say nothing of the Ten Commandments… The education of the youth is to be confined primarily by the teacher, the officer, and the leaders of the party. The priests will die out. They have estranged the youth from the Volk. Into their places will step the leaders. Not deputies of God. But anyway the best Germans. And how shall we train our children? Thus, as though they had never heard of Christianity!”

Doesn't this philosophy sound way too familiar?

Today the ACLU and other far left organizations are rabidly trying to eliminate every shred of Christianity from the public schools of America.

So are Hitler and the Nazis closer to the Left of today or to the Right of today?

It appears that the answer is completely obvious.

The truth is that a society that teaches Darwinism and trashes Christianity is going to produce sickos like James Von Brunn.

A lot of people who read this article are not going to like that statement, but it is true.

Glenn Beck Publicly Sells Out Gun Owners, Militia Members And Other Members Of The Far Right On The Air

It seems that whenever the establishment wishes to demonize a particular group, they start claiming that they are "working with al-Qaeda". This time, a warning about an "unholy alliance" between "right wing extremists" and al-Qaeda is coming from a seemingly unlikely source: Glenn Beck.

On a recent show, Glenn Beck, who is supposed to be an "arch-conservative", publicly sold out gun owners, militia members and other members of the far right on the air.

In the video below, Beck and a guest are discussing a video by a supposed al-Qaeda leader who claims that he wants to smuggle Anthrax into the U.S. and attack the government. In the video, the al-Qaeda leader also states that al-Qaeda might want to team up with "members of native U.S. white supremacist militias who hate the federal government."

First of all, such a notion is completely and utterly ridiculous. The idea of white supremacists teaming up with al-Qaeda is so bizarre and so unlikely that anyone with half a brain knows that such a thing would never happen.

But in the video below notice how Beck jumps on the idea.

Notice how he points out how he has been warning of just such a thing for a long time.

Also notice how he subtly links white supremacists with "militia groups" and those who are anti-government.....



Do you see what is going on here?

Beck is purposely demonizing the growing liberty movement in the United States.

Millions of Americans are waking up to the fact that both political parties are owned by the bankers, that our rights are being stripped from us at blinding speed, and that most of our politicians and leaders don't even give lip service to the Constitution anymore.

In fact, these days if you talk about the Constitution too much you are likely to be labeled by authorities as someone who is likely to work with al-Qaeda.

The truth is that many civil libertarians and freedom activists are becoming increasingly alarmed by the trend towards massive political repression in the United States. Political candidates and organizations that are out of favor with the establishment are now actually being labeled as "dangerous" and as "potential terrorists" in official government reports.

It is interesting to note that no left-leaning political ideologies or organizations were identified in the report. Neither were Islamic extremists mentioned in the report. Apparently only those who support candidates like Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin are considered to be dangerous.

These are exactly the type of tactics that were used in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia to demonize and crush political opposition. When official government reports start labeling supporters of certain political candidates as "potential terrorists" all Americans should start getting alarmed.

It doesn't matter how you feel about those candidates. For instance, you may hate what Ron Paul stands for. It doesn't matter. What does matter is that when official government reports openly attack certain political groups, we are all being attacked.

Another example of this disturbing trend towards political repression is the recent Department of Homeland Security report on "right wing extremism" that created a firestorm of controversy across America.

Why was there such an incredible uproar over that report?

Because it labeled tens of millions of Americans as "potential domestic terrorists".

The Future Of American Youth: Fascist Uniforms & Paramilitary Training

As the domestic security apparatus continues to expand aggressively in the U.S., it is increasingly turning to America's youth to fill its ranks. It has gotten to the point where we are dressing our teens in "fascist" uniforms, teaching them hand salutes and giving the boy scouts paramilitary training.

Seriously.

First let's talk about a really disturbing article in the New York Times recently entitled: "Scouts Train to Fight Terrorists, and More".

In that article, the New York Times describes how the Boy Scouts are training thousands of young people to confront terrorism, illegal immigration and escalating border violence.

A couple of examples of "exercises" that these "Explorers" have participated in include a simulated raid on a marijuana field and taking out a disgruntled Iraq war veteran.

“Put him on his face and put a knee in his back,” a Border Patrol agent instructed a teen during one exercise that the New York Times observed. “I guarantee that he’ll shut up.”

Most of the time the "Explorers" use compressed-air guns which fire tiny plastic pellets during the training exercises, but other times they shoot real guns on a closed range.

“I like shooting them,” one participant told the New York Times. “I like the sound they make. It gets me excited.”

Are any of you who are reading this starting to get disturbed yet?

What in the world are we turning our kids into?

Just read this harrowing description of a live drill these "Explorers" were put through.....

Their hearts pounding, Explorers moved down alleys where there were hidden paper targets of people pointing guns, and made split-second decisions about when to shoot. In rescuing hostages from a bus taken over by terrorists, a baby-faced young girl screamed, “Separate your feet!” as she moved to handcuff her suspect.

We are training these kids to be enforcers in a futuristic police state.

One of the most insidious things about that ad is how they mixed images of Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in to make it seem so noble.

But the truth is that the government wants to train and use America's youth to help run the growing "Big Brother" police state that is growing up all around us.

Almost every week new laws are being passed that erode just a little bit more of our freedoms.

Will Americans wake up to the growing tyranny?

If you drop a frog in a pot of boiling water it will jump right out, but if you put a frog in a pot full of warm water and very slowly turn the heat up it will just sit there until it is boiled.

We are like that frog.

Our freedoms are slowly being boiled away as the heat keeps getting turned up, and we are all just sitting there. We need to tell our representatives that we want our freedoms back.

The good news is that millions of Americans are waking up and they are starting to take positive action.

Things may look bleak right now, but there are people who are offering positive solutions in the middle of this crisis.....



Sometimes it is easy to be discouraged by the direction this country is headed, but the truth is that the darker it is, the more the light can shine.

One of the favorite tactics of all tyrannical regimes (communist, fascist, etc.) is to set up youth brigades. It will be important for all of us to watch what all of these "youth programs" turn into.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Let's not forget what "youth brigades" have led to in the past.
